Geraldine Martinez, AmeriCorps Member (Middle School Program)

Geraldine joins Breakthrough Houston as a Middle School Program AmeriCorps Member. She graduated from Lehigh University with a B.A. in Sociology. Geraldine has worked with other education nonprofit organizations like EMERGE Fellowship where she mentored first-year students at her university. Most recently, she worked with the LEAD Program, a youth leadership development program that aims to close the diversity gap in America. In her free time, Geraldine enjoys reading, painting, nature walks, and going to the gym.
